A CLOSER LOOK INSIDE THE BRAND

        I’ve had a passion for fashion since I was a little girl. And I’ve always been interested in business. I grew up in Tampa...born and raised. During my teen years I had many jobs including, babysitting, waitressing, retail sales, and office manager.

         During my junior year at USF’s Business Honors Program, I had to make a choice. I was working at M’s Boutique on Dale Mabry where I was given the opportunity to become a junior investor in the business. After heartfelt conversations with my parents, I decided to take their advice. They told me “Follow Your Bliss”. I did. I put school on hold and followed my passion. I travelled to New York, Miami and Atlanta fashion markets. I acquired valuable experience and knowledge about running a business. It was one of my favorite jobs ever!!

         In 2004, I started my own T-shirt company. I created custom crystal designs which I sold at holiday shows and local boutiques. I also helped my mother-in-law with her ladies accessories company which led me to participate in the Holiday Gift Market for Junior League. I still participate in this event every year. I enjoy the holiday atmosphere and all the people I meet there. One of the vendors I met at the Holiday Gift Market was the owner of Tate and Tilly and we were always neighbors at this event. In 2017, I was told there was a space open in her boutique. I jumped at the opportunity to sell my products in her store. I changed my inventory from clothing and jewelry to gift items. I enjoy going to Atlanta market every January to find the latest and greatest in gifts for all the wonderful customers.
